Hadith

"The five (daily) prayers, and Friday prayer to the next Friday prayer, and Ramadan to the next Ramadan, are expiation of the sins committed in between them, so long as major sins are avoided."[Muslim]

Original Hadith

عن أبي هريرة -- عن رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال: «الصلوات الخمس، والجمعة إلى الجمعة، ورمضان إلى رمضان مُكَفِّراتٌ لما بينهنَّ إذا اجتُنبَت الكبائر». (مسلم)
